The luxurious Riu Palace Aquarell Hotel gis oing to have a lengthy list of facilities in its jam-packed locker. Four pools, a waterpark and a kids' pool will sort out the swimmers, while five restaurants and five bars will take care of rumbling stomachs and dry throats. And those are just the starting points. Entertainment for adults and kids will be on the cards day and night, and before we forget – the hotel's pulled right up to an ice-white sandy beach.

Facilities at Riu Palace Aquarelle

The Riu Palace Aquarelle will have a full-to-bursting facilities line-up when it opens in 2024. Four pools, a kids' pool and a waterpark will take care of swimming sessions. On the dining front, five restaurants and five bars will be joined by a lunchtime grill and a patisserie for sweet treats. Then there'll be a kids' club, a wellness centre and a decent choice of activities.

POOL

Riu Palace Aquarelle will feature four pools to take a dip in, including two with swim-up bars. Little ones will have their own separate spot with slides, and there'll be a waterpark with lots of slides, flumes and rapids to race down.

  • Splash Water World: A waterpark with numerous waterslides to whizz down. Bear in mind, guests must be at least 1.20m tall to use the waterslides. For safety reasons, the minimum recommended age is 12+.
  • Outdoor pools: A quadruple helping of outdoor pools – one of which will have a poolside bar with its own swim-up section, too.
  • Kids' pool: A pool for little'uns – which will have mini waterslides.

ENTERTAINMENT

Family-friendly entertainment will take place every night on the stage in the lounge bar, while little ones will be able to run riot all day at the kids' club.

SPORTS & ACTIVITIES

You'll be able to try your hand at a number of watersports at the beach, with the likes of paddleboarding, kayaking and snorkelling on the cards. Back on terra firma, there'll be daily fitness classes and a beach volleyball court to get the blood pumping.
